It's not sticky at all, but rather has a soft, fluffy texture that's perfect for molding and shaping.     First off my son absolutely loves his toucan. It was an Easter gift and he still constantly plays with it. I will admit they are some what annoying when your child starts yelling at it and it is yelling back. We do have to take Chirpy Bird time outs.

    A surprising thing about these is I found them to have a great educational value. We used this nightly to study sight words and it really motivated my son to study. He would talk to the bird and it would repeat the words. I believe once he gets old and starts having spelling lists we can use it for that too!
